The Spring 2010 campaign for Illionaire found the Australian fashion label placing model Caitlin Lomax (shot by Justin Smith,) smack-dab in the middle of the Australian coastline for a shoot that highlighted the lively colors and girlish dresses found in their most recent collection.
The campaign seemed to go down two different routes.
One in which the model seemed to blend in in with her surroundings, coming across as an extension of the natural environment:
And one in which she was decidedly out-of-place, making her vibrantly-colored dresses stand out against the background like a paint-splashed leaf:
(Ugh, the electric greenish-blues on this one just kill me.)
Well, whether she's blending in or standing out, I can tell you one thing:
Her ass better find it's way back to civilization, cuz those dresses are way too beautiful to be wasted on those tacky-ass kangaroos and squirrels.
(No, I'm not sure if they have squirrels in Australia, and I'm too lazy to look it up. I just like the idea of the fluffy little babies clutching their nuts as they experience fashion for the first time. Sue me.)
